My name is Erica Shelley. I've been in photography for about 4 years now. This is my full time gig and my soul in life. I really enjoy photographing children, teens and inspiring models. I see the love of life that shines in their eyes. Nature and landscapes spark a fire in me.  I'd love to learn more on portrait photography. The reason why is, I like to see how each person comes alive in front of the camera.
I chose photography because I loved
how it feels to watch an image in my head, come to life in the viewfinder. Or how it feels when I'm lost in my own world, out in nature, with just my camera. The drive I have for photography comes from seeing what I feel come to life.
Social media has been a huge help to me. I have followed Judy Rush, Shawnna Jones, Kerry Ray Tracy, Robert Capa, and Andy Warhol. Among  many others! My raw passion comes alive with the camera.

I've come across Erica's work more then a few times on Facebook, and was always impressed by her imagery. I took the time to go through her photos on, Divine Treasures Photography, which is her studio. Images were a blend of floral's, to nature, landscape and portraits. It was an enjoyable mix. I didn't just see her range of skills, as I saw heart in what she loved to capture. It never fails when you look at portrait sessions, there is always going to be those few images where the subject looks bored, or lackluster in their wanting to pose. Not true with Erica's work. Everyone seems to be having fun. Enjoying the process, enjoying how the photographer leads, how she directs and better yet, how she can make them feel that this is about them, it's ok to smile and have fun.
As for the rest of her work. The image above of the flowers struck me right off. I love the color! Due to my being blind in one eye, color tends to blend differently for me then most. So her flowers simply popped and caught my attention. I love the blur around it with center of focus. Caught my eye and is simply just beautiful. All her work exhibits this. Some say they love photography, others simply use the camera as a tool, to get something more down the line. Not Erica, you see her work and you see a woman who loves speaking with her camera. She's earned her place in The Artist Profile.
